Experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Eugene Saltzberg, MD

Based in Highland Park, Illinois, Eugene Saltzberg, MD, has served as an associate professor at the Chicago Medical School since 1987. During his time in this role, Eugene Saltzberg, MD, has taught a range of emergency medicine courses for pre-clinical medical students, including classes on analytical thinking, differential diagnosis, and emergency procedures in a simulation lab setting. Dr. Eugene Saltzberg has published work during his time as a professor, including “An Ethical Analysis of the Arguments for and Against COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates for Healthcare Workers” in the Journal of Emergency Medicine.

Additionally, Dr. Saltzberg has held other medical positions while teaching at the Chicago Medical School. He has worked as a staff physician at Northwestern Medicine and for the United States Federal Government, in addition to 25 years as an emergency medicine physician at the Condell Medical Center, among other appointments.

Dr. Saltzberg earned his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School. He completed post-graduate training in pediatrics and emergency medicine and has maintained his board certification in emergency medicine since 1987. He has volunteered as a medical advisor at The Lambs Farm, a residential community for adults with mental disabilities, for 35 years.
